The Tobermory Blanket Digital Pattern
Description
The Tobermory Blanket, a beautiful, colourful crochet design inspired by one of Scotland's most charming coastal villages.
Having lived in Scotland for nearly 30 years, I feel incredibly lucky to call this wonderful country my home. From its breathtaking landscapes and fascinating history to its warm and welcoming people, Scotland has been a constant source of inspiration for me.
When I first arrived, I thought my English was pretty good, until my very first taxi ride with a Glaswegian driver made me realise I still had quite a lot to learn! Over the years, I've grown used to being called everything from "love" and "pet" to "lass" and "hen", and Scotland has truly become a part of who I am.
The inspiration for this blanket comes from Tobermory, a picturesque fishing village on the Isle of Mull, famous for its beautiful harbour lined with brightly painted buildings.
I wanted to capture the charm, character and wonderful colours of Tobermory in a crochet blanket that is full of life and personality.
The result is a vibrant and cheerful design that celebrates colour and creativity. I hope you have just as much fun making your own Tobermory Blanket as I had designing it!
