The Peerie Blooms Blanket Digital Pattern
Description
The Peerie Blooms Blanket, a beautiful, colourful crochet design featuring little three-dimensional flowers, inspired by the beauty of Scotland.
Originally created in 2020 in collaboration with Stylecraft Yarns for their Blogstars Make Along (MAL) programme, this blanket was designed to be a fun, relaxing and enjoyable project for crocheters of all abilities.
The name "Peerie" means "small" in Scots, perfectly describing the 99 individual crochet squares, each featuring a delicate three-dimensional flower. The squares are arranged in four colour combinations to create a tartan-inspired design, a special tribute to Scotland, the country I am lucky enough to call home.
Made using Stylecraft Special Aran yarn, the blanket is designed to be simple and enjoyable to crochet, making it perfect for beginners or experienced crocheters looking for a relaxing project.
The pattern also includes motif charts and video tutorials demonstrating the crochet motif and joining method, making it even easier to follow along.
I hope you enjoy creating your own Peerie Blooms Blanket as much as I enjoyed designing it!
