Under the Sea Bag – Crochet Pattern (Digital Download)

I'm so excited to introduce my Under the Sea Bag crochet pattern! Inspired by the beautiful colours and textures of the ocean, this fun summer project features colourful stripes, 3D starfish, sea anemones and coral decorations.

Whether you're an experienced crocheter or just starting out, this is a lovely project to get creative with and make your own!

The bag is made using two strands of Stylecraft Organic Cotton held together. I chose not to line my bag, so I recommend working the main body quite tightly to help it hold its shape.

My design features 3D starfish, three sea anemones, a small coral branch and four mini pompons (approximately 1 cm in diameter).

Decorating is the fun part! Feel free to follow my design or add your own personal touches, such as little shells, extra coral or fewer decorations. It's completely up to you!

Materials & Equipment Needed

• Stylecraft Organic Cotton yarn (held double)

• 3.0 mm and 4.0 mm crochet hooks

• Round bamboo bag handles (approximately 16 cm wide × 13 cm tall)

• Locking stitch markers

• Yarn needle

• Scissors

• Four mini pompons (approximately 1 cm in diameter)

Bamboo handles and mini pompons can be found on Amazon or at most craft suppliers.
