We have named the blanket ‘Fiori’ which, in Italian means ‘flowers’ and it is my colourway for Jane’s ‘Fields of Gold’. The inspiration for my colour palette was the early summer alpine meadows, the vibrant flowers boxes of the little village in the Dolomites where I come from and the magical mountain light that creates the most vibrant hues.
‘The early summer alpine meadows, the vibrant flower boxes of the village dwellings and the magical mountain light that creates
the most spirited pink, red and blue hues all swayed my colour choices. I have called this colourway Fiori,
which means flowery or having a pattern of flowers in Italian‘. – Lucia x
